‌N08020 is a high alloy corrosion resistant material, also known as alloy 20. ‌ It belongs to the nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy series, has excellent corrosion resistance, and is widely used in chemical industry, petrochemical industry, marine engineering, medical equipment and other fields. N08020 alloy is mainly composed of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, iron, tungsten and other metals. This alloy not only inherits the excellent corrosion resistance of nickel alloy, but also further improves its stability and durability in extreme environments through a unique alloying design. Its main chemical components include carbon, manganese, nickel, etc., and its mechanical properties such as tensile strength σb ≥ 550MPa. N08020 alloy is particularly suitable for occasions where it is necessary to resist corrosion by both oxidizing and reducing media, such as chemical industry, petroleum refining, marine engineering and nuclear power generation. N08020, also known as Alloy 20 or Carpenter 204047, is a specially designed nickel-chromium-iron alloy belonging to the nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy family. It is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, stress corrosion cracking resistance and good mechanical properties, especially under high temperature and high pressure working conditions.

‌ Physical Properties‌: Density is about 8.75 g/cm³, melting point is about 1300-1350°C.

Performance characteristics


High temperature resistance:

It can maintain stable mechanical and chemical properties at high temperatures, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 600℃. It is widely used in high temperature environments such as chemical, petroleum, aerospace and other fields. It has excellent high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance, and can withstand harsh working environments under high temperature and high pressure conditions. It can withstand extremely high temperatures and pressures and maintain stable performance. It is especially suitable for equipment that produces and stores strong corrosive media such as concentrated sulfuric acid, sulfates, and fluorides. It can be used to manufacture equipment parts that work in strong acid environments, such as equipment for refining, storing, and treating acidic media in the petrochemical field, and equipment for producing and storing strong corrosive media in the fields of pharmaceuticals and food processing.

Processing performance:

It has good cold processing performance and hot processing performance. It can prepare parts of various shapes through forging, hot rolling, cold rolling, cold heading and other processing methods. It can be processed and formed by heat treatment and cold processing. It is also easy to perform mechanical processing and cold forming. However, appropriate preheating and cooling measures need to be taken during the processing to avoid affecting its performance.
